Add Batch feature
I would like to be able to do editing on a set of photos automatically. For example, resize, autofix, add watermark, rename file, save with one mouse click.

Collage feature - allow at least 2 photos to stich together
With some products I like to show a front and back view in the gallery image and now have to do it with 3rd party software, then come back and crop/resize within fast photos. This would be a great time saver & I would do it more often if available. Overall this beta version is a great improvement on what has been a workhorse application for me!

Replace Background feature - select object in photo and replace background
For example: select a foreground object then cut it out of the image and replace the background with a solid color.
Could have a variety of backgrounds to choose from.

Add Auto Straighten feature
Add feature to automatically straighten images.
If image has straight edge, for example a scanned page, would find the edge and straighten with one click.

Replace Background feature - using Green Screen (Chromakey) method
Ability to replace background with one click.
What you have to do - shoot your photos with a 'greenscreen' backdrop and set up the lighting to minimize shadows.
Benefit - much easier background removal - one click if the lighting is done right.
Chromakey is available generally in green and blue, it allows us to take photos of our products on a green or blue background, and then by clicking the background color we can remove that entire color at once replacing it with a solid white background. I would love to see that ability here if possible.

Fast Photo's quick custom border feature is crucial.
Dave, I like the polished look of PhotoAssistant, but without Fast Photo's quick custom border feature, PhotoAssistant is largely useless to me. Fast Photos quick border feature, as well as quick re-sizing, and compression feature, have all been fundamental. Granted, eBay no longer allows borders on photos, but eBay is not the be-all and end-all of my photos. I've found that Fast Photos has been the best photo program out there in allowing me to quickly edit the several thousand images I have in my Windows Photo Gallery.

Add a "Get Photo" feature to get scans directly from a scanner
Getting a scan from the printer is sometimes important
LIke what I see and think this is a great solution for editing quickly. Had trouble getting the photos on my camera card recognized by the program. Once I figured out where they were files, it worked well. I do scan photos rather than photographing them. Easy way to get those into the program so I can edit and store?4 votes -
Add Publish action to upload photos directly via FTP
The Publish to FTP site feature of Fast Photos was very helpful - I hope that is an upcoming feature for PhotoAssistant.

Along with the sliding bar it would be nice to click on a positive or negative area and manually enter the number (hope that makes sense :)
Along with the sliding bar it would be nice to be able to click on the positive or negative area and manually enter the number (hope that makes sense :). I don't feel like I have much control over adding or subtracting my values with just the bar. Great program though-thanks!
2 votesHi Michelle,
Several people have asked for a numeric entry field, IE enter “40” to set the value of the slider to 40. Is that what you mean?
Thanks,

Eyedropper and colorpicker w/ a brush to touchup.
I use mostly solid black backgrounds that occasionally get dust or fur on them. Would love to be able to sample the background and have a small brush to touch up these little spots.
Easier to implement than an erase feature I think!
